I've spent the last 12 years working for the UK's largest independent provider of clinical pathology. During that time I've had the opportunity to work on a large-scale project to replace our existing LIMS with an in-house bespoke solution, overseen two major laboratory moves, and learned the infrastructure for both our virtual and physical estates.
In addition to my personal growth, I've also taken on management roles in both laboratory and IT environments. This experience has expanded my skills and honed my ability to lead teams effectively towards achieving our objectives.

Web development
After needing to understand the basics of JavaScript for LIMS integration, in my spare time I've rediscovered an enjoyment for website creation and front end development. You can see (some of) my pet projects on GitHub.
Programming
In the new age of LLMs and neural networks, learning and creating has never been easier. Currently dabbling in Python.
Poker
One of the best games ever created, up there with Chess. It helped fund me through university and remains a hobby ever since.
